> I have learned when people put up their guards to protect themselves from being hurt, they also protect themselves from being loved. I have learned that when you set boudaries, you don't have to be so concerned about protecting yourself. When people let down their guards and just set boundaries, they are more free to love and be loved without issues of trust and distrust.

How are boundaries different from mistrust? Why would someone set a boundary between themselves and someone else, if not because they didn't trust the other person to cross that boundary?

> My wonderful 6w7 best friend. I think she will always to some degree be guarded because she is a 6. Even though she is healthy and overcame her self-defeating way of life, she still struggles over trusting strangers and being in places that looks suspicious. She does both, set boundaries and keep her guards up where she don't know her boundaries. Fear and doubt is useful for her, when it would be a negative thing for the rest of the Enneatype. Interesing, huh?

Fear and doubt is useful for everyone, in limited quantities, and about the right things. People have a word for people with no doubt: "gullible."

> I don't disagree with your opinion about 9 because that is true also. Sometimes, conflicts can piss off a 9 if they continue to bring chaos around a 9 disturbing their peace!!! Ha, ha, ha.

Why do you do that "ha, ha, ha" thing when nothing remotely funny is going on? More specifically, why do you put a PERIOD at the end of it instead of an exclamation point? Laughter is exclamatory by nature.
