> FIRSTBORNS HAVE HIGHER RISK FOR HEART DISEASE Firstborn children appear to be more likely to develop heart disease, Italian researchers report at the American Heart Association's Asia Pacific Scientific Forum. Being first- born has been considered a factor in causing various disea- ses, but this is the first time it has been associated with heart disease. The reason for this could be that firstborns may have a type-A personality, characterized by competitive- ness and perfectionist tendencies, that makes them prone to heart disease, the researchers said. The study analyzed 348 heart disease patients and found that nearly 47 percent were firstborn, which is significantly higher than the 29 percent of firstborns found in the reference population. Other risk factors, such as family history of heart disease and high blood pressure, did not explain the prevalence of heart disease among firstborns, the researchers said.
***First bornes, according to cliffs findings feel they have to work in order to earn the love and admiration of others. In this sense they are like threes. Who knows what aspects of the world would not be exploited or ruined from first borne ambition, or conversely, what wonders have been created.
