Congratulations on your achievements! My close friends are intellectuals, especially my best friend who went to an honors college. They are wild at that school. I don't see intellectuals to be any different from anybody else behind close doors. Publically, they are more shy and reserve. I find they are enjoyable to talk to in person or online with Asian people.

I can appreciate intellectuals discipline to stay focus and excel in what they are doing. They admire my sociability and social ease. My best friend tells me that I am a genuis with dealing with people and helping them. I know they are shy, especially the computer nerds. I know a lot of Type 5 (the most intellectual oriented ones) can be found in the 24 hour Wal-Mart shopping in the middle of the night avoiding crowds. They don't like crowds. They are like secret treasures!

Bartholomew, I don't care what you think of me because you are too critical and rude to people thinking of yourself as superior of them because of your intellect. When you get older, I am sure you will become as wise as my friends are, I hope. The book called "The Tao of Pooh" made me realized that Intellectualism is an illusion and that wisdom is what I want to seek. I also learned this from examples of children and adults who are so intelligent that they are wise. A minister reminded me that I will not find what I am looking for in my mind, it is in my heart, he was right.

Bartholomew, I don't remember God telling me that I was born to live up to your expectations and ideology! Any problem that you have with me and others, is actually a problem you have with yourself. You feel you are wasting your words on me, it is okay because I can live very happily without your negativity! I value wisdom above intellectualism. You are more westernized than I am, so that is part of the westernize culture, the Caste system and confucious. You have a right to your beliefs and way of life, and I have a right to mines. I learn things from a world view, which surprises people, sometimes, to know that I am actually an American.

I feel very fortunate to have the opportunities to learn from various of cultures and religions that shapes me more into my International outlook that allows me to connect with people from all over the world. I love it. I rather socialize and talk to people than to study, though I admire those people whose IQ is not as high as mines who study and work very hard to achieve their goals and graduate on the top of the class! That impressed me and blew my mind.

You and I have different way of looking at people. You see them inferior to your intellect. And I see people as one with each other and with the Universe, including the retarded people. I believe everybody has gift(s) to contribute to this world in some kind of way. Some people discover their purpose for being here and some don't, but everybody is here for a reason, I think. I try to look at the big picture. I am glad that people benefit from my insightfulness because that is my gift to share with them along with my humor! The people that I help becomes my hero because of their ability to overcome the obstacles that became a thing of their past.

Well, Bartholomew, I know you like to debate, so would you be so kind to find someone who likes to debate with you because I rather use my energy in a positive way. There are enough room in this website where we can respect one another's space to be ourselves. I won't bother to answer your questions because it will not meet your expectations since everybody's intellect seems to be inferior to yours.

So, if you feel like you are wasting your words with me, don't do that to yourself, dude. Have a great day and a nice life. You know being kind is not such a bad thing, it is quite rewarding, and it does not cost anything. I am sorry you feel insulted, but why should you have more special treatment than how you treat others, insulting their intelligence. Remember, I don't like double standards. I think everybody deserve equal respect and positive regard on this website. If you don't feel that way, we will never agree! I don't want to be friends with people who are not nice and that is my right.

> Listen, I am quickly losing respect for you. You proselytize about being nice to other people no matter what, while in the same paragraph, the same SENTENCE sometimes, insulting me.

> Yes, I have a large ego. With reason. I have an IQ in the 150s, my PSAT scores were perfect 80s on math and verbal and 76 out of 80 on writing skills (and I just did the SAT I today, on which I expect a score of 1600 or very close to it), and I have a proven reasoning ability that is responsible for the creation of an entire philosophy of reality, most of which I've posted on this site over the past year and a half. I'm in all honors level classes. I skipped Algebra II by doing an independent study in it, which means I'm in Calculus a year ahead of my class. On the "SAT II: Mathematics IIC" test (basically a standardized precalculus exam), I received a 780 out of 800, and I'm planning to retake the exam this year to get an 800. I discovered an error on the MCAS test in 10th grade, for which I received a commendation from the Massachusetts Senate. I have PLENTY of reason to consider myself right and other people wrong when we disagree.

> You also have a large ego, as evidenced by your readiness to judge others. However, as far as I can tell from talking to you, you have no reason to have such an ego. You spout irrelevant anecdotes and stream-of-thought ramblings, amidst which you hide numerous blatant reasoning errors and internal inconsistencies. You fail to understand what I'm saying to more than a vague extent, and you fail to understand that you do this. Your worst trait is the tendency towards intellectual prejudice, not that I expect you to know what that term means.

>
> I am not going to go through and respond to anything you were saying. I would like to, but I'm sorry to say that my efforts would be wasted on you. You probably don't even really understand what this rant is all about.

> I have two pieces of advice for you: Go get an unbiased worldview, and learn to recognize when you don't know what you're talking about.
