I think that reaching the stage where we hate being what we are is a cue to start on a stage of development. We can decide consciously to try out the ways of other types. As a 5, if I want to make progress they tell me that I should be looking towards 8, getting involved actively with people and pushing my ideas, putting them to effect in the real world (son, go and play on the highway).
You, on the other hand, only need to RELAX. Don't worry, be happy. Be lazy and carefree. How hard can that be?
