Hi cc

I don't think you'll find too many 8's around here - which is a shame - because 8's have a very direct way of relating and are great at cutting through the b/s and, at times, keeping the rest of us honest. My kid sister is an 8 and I've learned over the years that her bark is worse than her bite....she's really a softie underneath it all and every bit as sensitive as some 4's and others I know (but don't let it get around....she'd KILL me!) I'm a 4 and if it weren't for the fact that she is many years my junior, I might have been put off by her often gruff manner (as were many of my 4 friends when they first met her) - but it's hard to be scared of someone when you've changed their nappies (diapers) and watched them grow up.

Because of her, I've learned to value the strength and directness of the 8
and to not take everything they say personally.
I think that, because of me, she has learned to tolerate other people's ways of relating.

We may be diametrically opposed on the egram - but we are united in our love for each other and it is a constant source of growth for us both.

Amanda :)

> Any other 8's out there? I was introduced to this e-gram stuff by a 4 girlfriend who long since kicked me over for someone more sensative. When I finally admitted I was a true, no winged 8, I was " beat up on" a lot by the sensative, fakey, manipulative , nutso, rest of the star. I'm the quintessential primitave. I fought a war and raised a family. I did my duty to god and county, not because I'd gain by it, or because someone wanted me to, but because it was in my nature. That's bad? I'm proud to be the protector of the cave fire and the gene pool. I'm also a prize winning painter and beer brewer, but that doesn't count because I'm not a 4 or 3. Do I sense something amiss, or is it just the smoke in the cave?
