So, you're not going to do my work for me, huh? :-) My scores put 7 first, followed by 1 and 3. When I did this first some years ago, I didn't even really review the 7 questions because I thought had a lot of the 1 characteristics and that I should be that type. So many of my answers were given sort of ideally, of what I thought I should be. I've let a little of that go this time around and tried to answer more as a reflection of my real instincts rather than as a reflection of what values I thought should be reflected. So it has been difficult to look honestly at how I scored and what my real desires/tendencies are. But the closer I get to seeing this and the more I understand of the system the more liberated I feel. Okay, so anything called (by Hurley & Dobson) a "Dreamer" was absolutely unacceptable to me at one time, but I now see that to some extent it explains some struggles I've had (I'm a lawyer, and not being naturally a perfectionistic nitpicker as a primary personality trait was quite unsettling to me, as those are prized aspects in my profession). But I need to take the things you listed, particularly compliance, security and authority to see whether that jibes with my current thinking or not (I'm trying to get all this down quickly, at least for my current purposes). Thank you for isolating some of what I was saying -- I do tend to get blinded by where I think I'm heading before I actually arrive somewhere, which is I suppose is antithetical to really getting at what you (the general you) are about. Okay, I'm going to mull this over a bit more....
