> I'm sorry I gave my opinion about the impeachment case - you're right, it had no place on the board. Does anyone "know" ML that well? What kinds of facts have you used to type her? Just wondering.

I didn't see the original message that this refers to (boy this message board moves fast) but I had a couple of thoughts ...

I originally thought Monica might be a 2 (playing the seductress role), but after listening to some of the Tripp tapes (with all that extra spare time I don't have) I changed my mind. She sounds very 6-ish,
talks about her "paranoia", and clearly has quite a bit of it - also seemed very analytical (more 6 than 2-like, although not proof in itself). At no point did she seem to have the ulterior or hidden motives
that many 2s have (again this is not proof in itself). Her relationships (with Tripp and Clinton) struck me as ill-fated searches for authority figures, more so than attempts to win people over. And she
reminded me of a 6 that I knew in college. I don't know if this is convincing or not. In any case, I think we'll find out a lot more about all involved in the coming years with interviews, books, etc. etc. ad nauseum.

I guess we can ignore the RUDENESS of those few people but it did make me wonder - what enneagram numbers could we assign to all the significants involved in this matter? Do a big majority of polititions come under the numbers 3, 8 or 1? What does anyone else think?

I've noticed that all presidents since 1968 have been either type 3, 6, or 9.
(Nixon 6, Ford 9, Carter 3, Reagan 9w8, Bush 6, Clinton 9w3w1w8) These are the most flexible types, but may not be the
best leaders, since they adapt to others, whereas a true leader does the opposite.

I don't know about other politicians, like Senators - there are too many of them and there is less public discussion about them.

I wish there were more 1 presidents, but most of them were in the 19th century, George Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln.
Perhaps our country was more idealistic back then, and has lost some of that idealistic fervor.
