can you refine the question?

The Enneagram holds interest for me because it helps 'normal' people
to develop insight into motivation that underlies one's sense of self.
At some level, my motivation gets in my own way. I am part of my own
problem. I see myself as peaceful, accomodating, insightful and easygoing.
As a Nine I get to see my delusion; I am spiritually lazy and out of touch
with a sense of 'self.' This challenge is an opportunity to grow if I so choose.

Not all people fall into the category of 'normal;' psychologists and
psychiatrists are the professionals licensed to deal with abnormal problems.

Don Riso expands the Enneagram to include levels of health. His approach
is interesting and not universally agreed upon. He assigns 9 levels of
typology. Levels 7,8,9 are unhealthy. Each type has a prediliction to
that type's unhealthy behavior. No one type is more prone to unhealthy
behavior than any other type. We all have an equal potential to be mad
(insane) in our own unique way. So, psychopath, sociopath, manic-depressive,
depressive, hystionic, etc.,etc., etc., all have the potential to cross
society's line. Perhaps, ritualistic killers like Hannibal Lector fall
into an Ennea-type. I doubt it. Criminalogists might see a link between
Obsessive-compulsive, passive-aggressive Nines going postal or Psychopathic,
narcissitic, antisocial Eights attacking Kuwait. Ask the criminalogists.
I suspect most of us can only speculate. I also speculate that most of us
are interesting, normal and some what insulted by inferences that any particular
types are 'crazier' than other types. I assume that you are sincere in
asking about type and prediliction. Is Riso enough? Is there another
point you want to address?
