Amen to that Jukka! Whenever I am around my Mom (Type 2), she is incessantly
in my face with conversation tidbits, even if I have my face buried in a
good book! I haven't been successful explaining to her that I need my
quiet time and that constant small talk drains me. Of course at this
point she gets all upset and I get all guilty. >sigh< I do put up with
her stories, endlessly retold, because it is a good way to maintain
family solidarity, among other things.
