I was wondering if any of you had read Richard Rohr at all?
He is a one, and a Franciscan, and brilliant, as far as I am
concerned. He really goes farther, in my view, towards
making the Enneagram a useful path for personal enlightenment
than anyone else I've read. The last time I picked up Discovering
the Enneagram, for instance, I even decided that I could
(and should)
learn
something from three. That is pretty amazing
for me, just because I have a really tough
time with threes.Anyway, I would highly recommend
reading Rohr to anyone who hasn't. His perspective
is Catholic (I am not), but there is still
a lot to be gained from his insights.I do love Palmer, and
Naranjo (because he is so harsh), I think Riso is wrong a
lot of the time- and he oversimplifies.
