I've always found that 5 girls are as good-looking as any cross-section of women, though they probably spend somewhat less on make-up, pretty rather than functional clothes, shoes etc. But their 5ness is a slight turn-off for me. I'm a 4w5 and I sure wish I wasn't, 3-wings have more fun and less self-control (both plusses). Five girls require a lot more work from the pursuer than 7s or 8s for, at best, an equal gain. I imagine it works the same on the other side of the gender gap; in fact Kate's post '"Handling" fives' from April 8th suggests so. Am I being unfair? Maybe some person without possible five-ness (ie not a 4, 5, or 6) can tell me that fives are in their top three and why.
Also, I have some half-formed opinions as to why I like female 8s so much; has anybody got some suggestions to flesh out my thinking?
