Hmm... I'm pretty nearly an INFP Five. It's my understanding that Five and Introversion are
very strongly correlated. Are you using the Myers-Briggs definition of Extraversion, which is purely behavioural,
and not linked to the types of function, or the more Jungian definitions, which are linked to the types of function.
A Jungian might well call me an Extraverted Intuitive, from the definitions of the functions, even though I am
almost completely Introverted by Myers-Briggs standards.
As for the emotional shut off thing, sometimes I know what I feel, but just ignore it. Sometimes I don't know and
don't want to find out. I can do this pretty easily in company, although I can obsess about certain emotions in
private (and it sometimes spills over.) I can't put this in Myers-Briggs terms.
