It makes me a little sad you believe in nothing at all.

I used to be a sceptical person about life after death, but after my mom died, I had some unusual things occur, which I do believe were signs from her. Less than 2 weeks after her death, I was staying at my boyfriend's at the time. A personal object that had gone missing for weeks (my mom had borrowed it in the months before she died) suddenly appeared again, in my basket.

I also saw a psychic of sorts, who told me details he couldn't have known unless he was in contact with my mom.. an example: he told me my mother said not to feel guilty about not being there on the day she died. (You see, I had just moved into my boyfriends temporarily, the day before, and I took a break from my usual routine of hospital visits. All my siblings went, and I regretted that very badly.)

I am not trying to start a debate hear on whether there is life after death or not, it is a personal conviction. Just thought I'd share my own experiences...
