Hi there,

I apologize for Dave's pseudo-answer to your question.

Dysfunctional is defined by many enneagram theorists as when a person is at an unhealthy state of development, rather than a healthy one. I would argue that it becomes even easier to type yourself at an unhealthy level, because those traits which make up the different points of the enneagram are now much more pronounced and specific.

So, for a real answer to your question, yes it is very possible to type yourself like this. Although it's also possible that your dysfunction may get in the way of a proper typing of yourself. My advice is to take the RHETI and any other enneagram test you can find on the web or in books, or go to a class/clinic in the enneagram.
