Well, old 'deep thinking' me thinks your project is an interesting
and useful mental exercise for you to learn more about the
enneagram.
You can't go too far wrong if you learn pretty much all the
stuff in those pop enneagram books by Riso, Palmer, etc.,
and then roll them all into one and just cream off the stuff
that can be boiled down into a couple of bumper sticker slogans
per type.
It might be helpful to think along these lines.
Each type has people in it who, while they are a six or seven or whatever,
are also a SUBTYPE of another type. So, someone like Martha Graham is
a six of the 1 subtype who favors her 7 wing. She will have a very
seductive/indulgent quality in relationships and will have a 1 nuance inflecting
every six thing she does.
Bill Clinton is also a 6 of the 1 subtype.
His endless sexual peccadilloes are all about seduction/indulgence,
BUT from a 6 perspective which requires that he be caught
with his pants down, so the whole country can take responsibility
for him while he takes the 'blame'.
So try to work out a chart of all types being inflected by each
of the other numbers. The subtype is just a flavoring, the person
will still be a four or three or whatever, but they will have a very
different flavor to how they use their main egram number due to that
subtype. It's the difference between a Scot and a Londoner: both
are "British", but how different even within that designation!
