5w4 appear like 9's; 9w1 appear as 5's. That's on their outer traits and processes of thought and reactions.
9's inner world is more somnabulant and they are involved in the world more in a sensori-motor fashion. They process through their bodies and sensation, and often get lost in them.
5's mind is constantly active, searching, distinguishing, etc.. They are often disconnected to their body. There is more of an inner anxiety in 5's which may be sublimate into mental observation and investigation. Both often withdraw when uncomfortable, but the 5 maintains awareness ( albeit with distorted thinking at more lower levels of the type), 9's withdraw and disappear mentally.
