The problem with asking serious theory questions on this forum is that you'll get several different answers. My advice is to study the enneagram on your own, develop your own ideas and then test them on this board. :) But, depending on if you ask me, Dave, Tal, Derf or Johnny Five, you're going to get contradictory answers. My belief: the enneagram is what you make it to be. Use it best as you see fit. Its truth is subjective (despite the manner in which some of us zealously debate its truths :).
