I've done more than my share of 3-bashing in the past. So in the hopes of diffusing the latest crop below, and trying to shed more light on the question here...
It seems that the main reason there aren't more 3's here is that they're just generally not into introspection. Even if you look at the enneagram in terms of typing other people, it still requires taking a good look at yourself. This seems to be something few 3's are willing to do; I'm guessing they often see things they don't like (as do all of us) and have no method for coping with these things other than putting them out of their minds.
Can we assume, then, that you are one of the rare introspective 3's who's not afraid to cut yoself down a notch or two?
