One of my friends insisted she was a 4, but she did not look so expressive. She said she cooked good food. I don't think cooking is what 4's do to convey themselves. What do you think? For many of 4's, I imagine that their withdrawn nature gets the best of them and they keep things to themselves. They may, for example, write or paint, but not share it with anyone. > For myself as a 4, my individuality is important, but I don't normally show it in such an obvious way. I don't dress extravagantly, I don't make a living as an artist, I don't do things that say, "look at me!" My self-expression often comes in words, mostly with my close friends. I share openly of myself in this way. I express myself by connecting with others one-on-one or in small groups. > With that said, I do have an aesthetic sense, but it's not always externally visible. I'm into photography, though I don't carry pictures around with me. I'm a musician, but haven't performed since college (actually just bought a new string bass after having not played at all in 4 years.) I've been keeping aquariums since I was 9, which to me is almost "living art." And I like to put myself in beautiful surroundings, which can mean finding a nice spot in the woods to read, or just keeping my appartment clean. But none of these are readily visible when you see me on the street. > - Hal - Thank you for the information. Gigi
