I've heard that the US culture is "3ish", but wonder if specific companies have cultures that represent other e-points. If so, why? Wouldn't all US companies be "3ish"? I assume at some level managers set the culture, but there seems to be distinct character ingrained in today's corporations.

I am currently in a very "3ish" fortune 500 company. At first the culture seemed energizing (I'm a heathy and successful 9), but now it seems so superficial.

I've been climbing the ladder for 20 years (and its a tall ladder), but never observed the process through the lens of the enneagram, which I have been studying for about six months. I may have been happier in my ignorance, but am hopeful that through enlightenment will come positive and more intelligent decisions.

I wonder if anyone has had similar observations/experiences/revelations?
