If you're concerned about the infinite varieties of the subtleties of human nature, then in the presence of that vastness, it seems to make little difference whether you choose to see 9 little types on this insiginificant symbol, or 9 little types with insignificant wings. Two candles have as much power before the sun as does one candle.
Humanity is humanity is humanity. It's like a noble gas - no single interpretation can rise to its level.
The Enneagram is just one interpretation. It is a system by nature, and a system, by nature, must have limits. It's a no-win situation: if it had no limits, it wouldn't be a system. It would be indistinguishable from a void. Yet, since a system must necessarily have limits, they must also have limitations.
So, why do I, for one, go on and on about the Enneagram? I'm hoping to learn just a little bit. And the MB will teach me another little bit. And NLP, another. Yet, none of these systems, even when combined, can give you the whole picture.
For that, you must always return to that noblest of entities....
BTW, your disinclination to showing anger to people's faces probably just means you're nice. :)
