The exception comes when I write; I often get 'flashes' of very vivid images... but they only last a split second before disappearing to be replaced by words which tell me exactly what was happening in the picture. I can't think in pictures. I can't go more than a couple of seconds of looking at an image (in my head or otherwise) without trying to explain what's going on in words. I can see places I visited once five years ago as clearly as I were sitting in them today. But other than that, it's all verbal for me. Wow! If I had taken the time to really give the matter serious consideration, I would have described my thought process in the exact same way! I thought the part about remembering places but not faces or events to be eerily like myself. Ev
