Of course every perosn utlizes both.

Hmm. You're forgetting the touchy-feely types who think 'in their bodies' there is a technial term for this that escapes me at the moment. They are less prevalent in industrialized nations and particularly caucasian cultures, if I recall correctly.
I believe I am right brained/creative/feeling, however I think primarily in words and in very detailed visuals; usually, my visuals are geared toward past observations of body language/interaction with people that evoke thoughts/feelings/intuitions.
In fact as I write this, my inner voice says, 'of course I think in words, what other way could I possibly think?' However I suck at math - I realize this is simplistic, however - does this make me right brained or left brained? I hate mathematics therefore I am non-logical? My gifts are in the many and various uses of language and in the design of things in interesting and/or beautiful ways, material or intangible... i.e., the furnishings in a room, a tableaux of people...
When learning a new concept/skill etc that I have no reference point for, there is no real thought process as such. Intuitions come, facts sink in, questions rise and fall back into the subconscious. Some process that I really don't understand takes place, but all of a sudden, ta da! I understand. It's as if my subconscious mind presents the conscious me with a nice neat little package after it's figured it out for me.
As to color/sound/touch etc., I can evoke thoughts or feelings by thinking of specific visual/audio/tactile triggers. However I think this process is universal in varying degrees of biological preference. I also 'think' in my body - i.e., I'll have an intuition about something, and I'll just KNOW. Gut feeling, heart knowledge, whatever you care to call it.
I wonder if this is another example of the centipede wondering how it moves it's legs?
Still, very interesting stuff. I love reading everyone's posts.
