Whevever a newcomer appears on this board with an announcement or inquiry, these things are sure to happen:

If on the main board:

1. Amanda will give him/her a "welcome aboard!" pep talk.

2. Hal will give him/her an "I understand you completely" reassurance (this usually happens only on the Four board).

3. Brian C. will hit him/her with a bit of low-key humor and insight.

4. If the newcomer's statement is audacious enough, DEECEE will retort with something SHORT 'N SWEET.

4. Johnny Five will type him/her as a 6, and maybe churn out a random list of celebrities.

btw, I don't mean to offend anyone. I'm just funnin'.
