Does anybody here know the works of Joel Robertson about "Peak Performance Living"? He has proposed in 1996 a personality clasification based on the neurochemistry - the relationships among different substances, like serotonin or dopamine - of our brains. He spoke about nine types of personality: from I to IX. There is big similitudes between these and the enneatypes...if you don´t mind the order (His "I" is "our" "V", and so).
I would explore this concepts in depth, and invite everybody to share knowing and opinions.
