The exemption feelings, perverse individualism and self-pity of the average Four are endlessly irritating to the average One. The average One's uptightness and insistence on duty and consistency irritate the average Seven, and so on. Similarly, the average person sees the type in the integration direction as impossible to live up to. The Four can't imagine having the certainty and confidence of the One, the One can't imagine being as footloose as the Seven, and so on.
