It seems a lot of people have some confusion over the MBTI and how your test results can vary. I have experienced this also. Three years ago I tested INFJ. I have retaken the test using different formats several times over the past couple years and stay steady at INTJ. It has varied somewhat, however its solidly INTJ. I think variation may be due to a persons particular mental/emotional state while taking the test. Look at the four temperments. They are - SJ SP NT NF. While we all have traits of each temparment, one will dominate. Two good sites are Kerisey.com and Personality Type Indicator under Yahoo-science-psycology-online tests. This contains a personality type compatibility chart. It basically states one MB type will have great relations with only 4 MB's, good yet fragile with another 4, average with 4 and poor with 4. I would like to know what people think of this based on their experience, since there is no research data provided. Another interesting site is by David Keirsey where there is a portrait of leadership dominated by SJ's in the former USSR. I am interested to know what people, particularly SJ's think of that.
