Well, I guess there are still many studies left to conduct on the Enneagram . . . glasses . . .berets! I find this Four beret thing very amusing, and I've read it about recently in a number of different places (thanks for citing Rohr, I'll have to check it out). I am a Four, and no, I don't generally wear berets, or scarves, or any other "artsy" accessories. I dress conservatively (though with a little style) and wear simple fine jewelry. I simply don't have the confidence to look different; I actually like to look inconspicuous. Aside from this deviation, I am very Four and fit nearly all the other Four descriptions. But the loud, artsy, unique dress thing just doesn't fit me at all. But I suppose I shouldn't worry about this -- dress is only a superficial indicator of personality. Any other Fours out there who just like to look regular and don't want to stand out?

As for Fives and glasses, it sure fits the stereotype, but who knows what the actual statistical evidence is. My father is a near-sighted glasses-wearing Five, as our two Five friends. Considering I only know a handful of Fives (at least ones that I've definitively typed), from my own informal study, I would conclude that there seems to be a high correlation. But who knows?
