Hmm...you may be on to something, you Genius you! My Dad (a One) was
continually exasperated by me in my youth by my sensitivity, feelings of
being exempt from working ;), and emotionality; we get along better now
that I have committed myself to a rewarding (for me!) career, though he
occasionally gets up on his soapbox and tries to lecture me (usually after
I have done something impulsive and/or silly), but I don't let it bother
me like it used to.

On my end I could never imagine being a workaholic like he was, going off
to the office for 12 hours straight and being all businesslike about it!

I have tried to interest him in stuff like painting or birdwatching but he
would rather play cards with his cronies more than anything, just like he
has for years...
