Wow, I'm impressed. Interesting stuff. Have copied it for later analysis/perusal.

Being an authenticity loving Four, I don't even wish to save face or cloud anything. I also wish to be open and inviting to others, not closing them out. i think it has a lot to do with social class as well. People where I grew up (outer East London) and where I live now (Essex - yes, I'm an Essex Girl) and, actually, nobody I know, speaks like that except this pompous Alasdair that i used to work with who was quite posh. As he was going to become a vicar, it wasn't the best way for him to talk. Also we were doing social work at the time with a lot of vulnerable people. (yes, I have a strong Two wing, but am also a 'Jewish princess', except I'm not Jewish) So I have no wish or intention to learn to speak like that. Why try to get one up on other people. I prefer a win-win situation. Sometimes I've thought of using 'I disagree' just to see what would happen, but everyone I know which includes a wide variety of people, academics, civl servants, wealth housewives, barristers, and the humble folk of Essex, would just react by saying, 'You pompous twat!'. Perhaps it's an English thing, where are you from?

Incidentally, I fell for Alasdair, after he wrote me a message, so watch out! Actually he's much improved now that he's married and less defensive of his ego.

The Tigster.
