And they are probably the most bitter people around, especially if they hang around you. Which makes me glad I don't know any of them and wouldn't want to.

Well baby rats come from it's Mommy being a big rat herself.

Maybe that's better. Wouldn't want to populate the world with, ah, people like, ah, you.

Like I said, that is the better choice due to reason stated above.

The reason why some people in such deep bitterness against the world could ever find a 'good enough' reason to have childern is because they live too deep in their own bitterness, hence are blinded by it.
