Meeting people from the net

I wonder if any of you got any experience with that. I've been talking
on irc, and I have met some intresting people (I think 5). I'm actually gonna meet
a woman next week that I have been chatting with, and singing songs to
on the telephone.

Anyway.......Does any of you got experience with meeting people from the
net ?

I'm a bit exited since I've never done that before.
