From my experience, Andy, it's best to take things very slowly. Falling in love on the Internet or after you start talking to them on the telephone is a big mistake. Even thinking you might automatically be good friends just from chatting might be a little bit too much to ask for. Just look at it from an attitude of "let's meet and see what happens." Just be casual and spontaneous and try not to make it a "first date" type atmosphere.
