Tiggy:> I think I'm in love with Sam,
Cecil: Are you serious?
Tiggy: but he fears he is too old for me, or perhaps he has the love of his life. Sam - I am older than I act.
Cecil: Are you two talking to each other through e-mail and the e-board?
Tiggy: Save me from the unrequited love of that bugger Jonathan
Cecil: Are you serious here, too?
Tiggy:- or else be my long lost father figure.
Cecil: Are you serious here, too???
RE: 'rescuer': What you seem like you want is a 'rescuer' to rescue you from your problems. Don't you think it's better if you rescue yourself?
RE: 'father figure':
Do you really need a 'father' figure?
I could NEVER understand how ANYone could EVER want that EVER. (Course, in my case, one father once in a lifetime is enough!)
RE: 'romantic figure':
I know I have never dreamed of a romantic-rescuer until only of late, and it really got to me.
I struggle with being torn between:
1)doing my 'own' thing, shich is what I've always done my whole life
2)doing whatever he needs me to do
3)getting him to do what I want to do
4)getting him, period, no matter what it takes
5) saying screw the whole thing, I never needed him or anyone else anyway.

You are wasted as an accountant. Become a shrink or a writer or an academic of some sort. You can still do accountancy in your spare time to keep the money up.
