I first came across the Enneagram through the Church, the Anglo-Catholic retreat house tradition. A large wing of it was from the jesuits. The Christian Enneagram books speak very much in terms of redemption which I find makes a lot of sense. In the words of a well known hymn, it says the words, 'then I shall know as I am known' referring to Heaven I think or spiritual growth, and the Enneagram lets us know about ourselves in a deep way, as God knows us. If we are to root out sins, then we have to find out which particular sins they are.
